Watch Dogs is getting really bad user reviews on Metacritic. The critic scores or user scores? Anything can be abused. I suppose, in metacritic's case, it's because it's popular and the simpletons all flock to it. I think Gamespot's review scores have this kind of war, as well, along with Amazon's. Yup, that's what I mean.
Reviews in general seem like they have become increasingly useless as users and journalists alike use reviews as an excuse to push their personal biases. Here it is if you're interested: "Hmm. As for grading system, I say get rid of numbers. They get way too arbitrary like 8. It would be much better to replace it with good (recommended), okay (caution), and bad (not recommended).
This way, people don't get feisty over which is better if they're both ranked "good". MAYBE add excellent and disaster for special occasions. Or just disaster.
