Just as the four are about to graduate as trained spies in the group dubbed D. E. B. S. (Discipline, Energy, Beauty, and Strength) they are recruited by the government to go after the infamous Lucy Diamond (Jordana Brewster). The four spy on Lucy at a restaurant, and split into groups of two when they are spotted. Amy and Janet get separated as they follow Lucy at a distance, and Amy ends up in a storage room with Lucy.

E. B. S makes their appearance. Lucy ignores her friend, Scud and his advice to leave Amy alone, and goes to see her that night. After partaking in a brief argument she convinces her to go out with her that night. The duo runs into Janet outside and takes her along as well. Lucy takes them to a club dubbed The Junk Pit.

Lucy and Amy enjoy spending time one- on- one and are quiet intrigued with each other until Janet catches them nearly kiss. Once back at the house, Janet is furious at Amy for mixing with a criminal in such a way that violates policy. Lucy stages a bank robbery, against Scud's approval, to see Amy again. Amy and Lucy end up trapped together, they share their first kiss, and Lucy convinces Amy to leave with her. When the other three see that Amy is gone they assume she has been kidnapped. Lucy and Amy are caught in bed together by the other D. E. B. S. They are horrified, and Amy ends up having to say she was kidnapped while she was with Lucy.
After sometime apart Scud helps Lucy crash the graduation party for the D. E. B. S. and Lucy and Amy end up back together.
